Employee Capital Plans & 50% tax deductible costs of transfering intellectual property rights (April 9, 2018)

On April 9, 2018 AmCham Kraków invited us to the Business Breakfast Meeting at Hotel Hilton Garden Inn to discuss the two current topics:

1) How to introduce Employee Capital Plans? – duties, rights & challenges presented by Łukasz Kuczkowski (Raczkowski Paruch)

On February 15, 2018 the long awaited draft of the Act on Employee Capital Plans (Pracownicze Plany Kapitałowe) was published. According to the draft, on January 1, 2019 the largest employers may be faced with an obligation to set up a PPK. The planned legislation significantly increases public burdens and imposes new obligations on employers relating to the need to create PPK. The PPK is intended to be a common and universal program. According to the estimates of the Ministry of Development, PPKs should cover 75% of all employees.

2) 50% tax deductible costs for transfer of intellectual property rights presented by Agnieszka Oleszczuk-Sowa and Karol Ciszak (Deloitte)

At the beginning of January 2018 the legislator introduces changes in income tax acts. Numerous new regulations, however, will impose new obligations and subsequent formalities on taxpayers. We will analyze them with respect to their influence on business.
