Bridging the Skills Gap - Sharing Best Practices in Business and Academia Collaboration in Poland (October 10, 2017)

Although education enhances employment prospects, there is often not a clear connection between the priorities in education and the provision of employment skills. The World Economic Forum report Global Risks 2014 notes “Many current graduates are discovering that despite their academic qualifications – often gained at significant expense – they lack the specific technical and professional skills demanded by the ever-changing jobs market.”

On Tuesday, October 10th, we invited all senior executives responsible for acquisition and development of talent to an AmCham breakfast on this particular subject with Mr. Jakub Bejnarowicz, Associate Director, Central and Eastern Europe, CIMA and Ms. Astrid Zakrzewska, FCMA CGMA, experienced CIMA tutor.
