May Monthly Meeting with Elżbieta Rafalska, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy (May 17, 2017)

Labor law and social policy are crucial for business, which is why AmCham continues its dialogue with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. AmCham members have been most concerned with issues around work time (flexible hours, overtime, shift work) and more recently on issues of vocational education and training. As unemployment decreases in Poland and the market tightens, employers have new challenges in finding talent, keeping the best employees and managing a more diverse workforce.

We had this opportunity to meet with Minister Rafalska to discuss her agenda vis-à-vis the priorities of the business community.

Watch the video from our May Monthly Meeting to hear directly from Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy, Elżbieta Rafalska about changes to the Labor Code, Ministry initiatives to activate the labor market, further changes to the Polish pension system, and the employee capital plans announced by the government.
