AmCham and the International Group of Chambers of Commerce (IGCC), representing 14 international chambers in Poland, have just launched the report “The Impact of Foreign Investment. Contribution to the Polish economy in the Past Quarter Century”. Thus, in the beginning of April, we discussed the key findings of the report and what American investors have contributed to the Tri-city region.
Following the discussion we enjoyed a tour of the exhibition “Augustus F. Sherman. Atlas immigrant” in the Emigration Museum in Gdynia. This is Poland's first exhibition, on this scale, of immigrant portraits as photographed at Ellis Island, off the New York coast in the early twentieth century. We are excited to bring you this exhibition as it showcases another level of U.S.-Polish ties and the impact that migration can bring – be it of people or companies.
