April Monthly Meeting with Paweł Gruza, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Finance (April 5, 2017)

One of the fundamental tasks of the Ministry of Finance is preparation, execution and control over the implementation of the state budget. The Ministry deals with the financing system for local governments, the budget zone and state security, and manages the public debt. The Ministry of Finance is responsible for the domestic tax system, as well as for financial cooperation with foreign countries and implementation of provisions regarding customs and treasury control.

In the context of the Ministry’s tasks, we were curious to hear from Undersecretary Gruza about the stability of the Polish tax system - an important factor influencing investment - incentives for foreign direct investments in Poland, utilization of EU funds, and mechanisms to improve tax collection.

Watch the video from the AmCham April Monthly Meeting to hear about these and other issues directly from the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Paweł Gruza.
