International Oktoberfest, 10th September in Wrocław

The International Oktoberfest in Wroclaw is the largest and most popular international networking event in Lower Silesia. An annual joint event of the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland, the British Polish Chamber of Commerce and the German-Polish Chamber of Industry and Commerce was held on 10 September in the courtyard of the Arsenal Museum in Wroclaw. International Oktoberfest 2015 combined the best tradition of business get-togethers as well as culture and various specialties of international cuisine represented by countries of particular Chambers. As in past years, prominent Lower Silesian celebrities, the diplomatic corps and senior representatives of the local authorities added glamour and gravitas to the event. Agnieszka Cegielska, the well-known television personality from TVN, acted as the MC, successfully maintaining the enjoyable atmosphere of the evening. As in previous years, a quiz about traditions, with exceptionally attractive prizes, took place. Remarkable performances by Bavarian artists Musikkapelle Niederwangen, a dance show and the eagerly-awaited tapping of the barrel would leave remarkable and long-lasting memories. Guests enjoyed several brands of beers such as Doctor Brew, Fortuna, Namysłów, Perła, Pilsner Urquell, Franziskaner, Lowenbrau, Spaten as well as Lubelski Cider, Meli Melum’s Cider and Polish kwas chlebowy. The aim of the event – to integrate top and middle-level management from the chambers’ member companies, their clients and business partners – was achieved to everyone’s satisfaction.
