Threats of Penal Fiscal Liability – how to manage/mitigate this risk?

November 22

Member companies have recently observed an increase in the number of tax audits by Polish tax authorities. In many cases, penal fiscal proceedings are initiated automatically upon the discovery of any irregularities in the audited company’s tax settlements.

On behalf of the AmCham Tax & Financial Services Committee, we invite you to a meeting, Threats of Penal Fiscal Liability – how to manage/mitigate this risk? Our meeting will be led by tax advisors from EY’s Tax Controversy Department and we will discuss:

• who may be found liable;

• which acts could be classified as fiscal crimes or fiscal offences;

• consequences of penal fiscal liability for individuals and companies;

• How to manage/mitigate the risk of penal fiscal liability?

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 22 at 9:30 a.m. in the AmCham Boardroom (Spektrum Tower, ul. Twarda 18, 16th floor).
