The American Chamber of Commerce in Poland organized its TTIP Conference- The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, a proposed trade agreement between the European Union and the U.S.
The goal of the conference was to better understand the TTIP agreement. Recommendations from businesses and organizations in Poland as well as the U.S. are especially important at this point, while negotiations are still in progress. The conference served as a unique platform for exchanging ideas between business and government, as well as understanding the role of each party in the agreement.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy, Janusz Piechociński; US Ambassador Stephen Mull; Undersecretary of State, Andrzej Dycha, Ministry of Economy, Undersecretary of State Katarzyna Kacperczyk, Ministry of Foreign Affairs all took part in the conference.
